Def Stan (16/0.2) LSZH electronics cables have 0.5mm2 conductors and are designed for high density wiring between components and within instruments and electronic equipment. They are extensively used in aircraft, process control systems, computers, data processors, process control systems, military vehicles and military equipment. They have stranded tinned copper cores, LSZH insulation, optional braid or foil screening and a black LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath as standard. Because of the mechanical design of these cables they should not be used for direct connection of equipment to mains power supplies.

These cables are also referred to as:
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) , LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen),
LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) and OHLS (Zero Halogen Low Smoke)
Note: LSF may mean modified PVC which can give off up to 18%
HCL (Hydrogen Chloride) emissions. Whereas the term Zero Halogen
ensures that the cables give off less than 0.5% HCL emissions.
Please ask if you have a specific requirement.
