Low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) or low smoke & fume (LSF) cables are increasingly being used in public and government buildings and where there is sensitive electronic equipment (i.e. Hospitals, Airports, Control Rooms & Computer Suites). These cables are designed for increased safety in the case of a fire as follows: Reduction in hazardous fumes which can cause injury when inhaled. Reduction in corrosive chemicals which can cause damage to electronics
We are the sole UK distributor of TEXIline HF Marine Panel Wire - flexible halogen free cable for ship and off shore use.
Many other cables not listed here can be supplied in LSF or LSZH versions, please contact us for further information.

These cables are also referred to as:
LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) , LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen),
LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) and OHLS (Zero Halogen Low Smoke)
Note: LSF may mean modified PVC which can give off up to 18%
HCL (Hydrogen Chloride) emissions. Whereas the term Zero Halogen
ensures that the cables give off less than 0.5% HCL emissions.
Please ask if you have a specific requirement.
